    November 2nd 2010

    It's finally here.

The Futuristic Reader is finally in realization phase. It's not prefect, it's beta.

But the foundation has been laid, and I have to say it's better than I could have imagined. There is a few things to iron out. I know having to zoom in each time you turn a page is annoying, and while you're in "read mode" you can't use the turn page options, but I'm hoping to get these things corrected in the near future!!

But with that said, it's here!! I can hardly believe it. I've had this feature imaged for about a year now, and to finally have it as a part of LumberjackNick.com is simply amazing!

I will now begin working the rest of the books into the Futuristic Read, as "Lj. Nick vs Planet Death IV" is the only one available at this moment.

And this means that the "Nick's Nuggets of Joy" Digital Book can finally find completion!!

Lot's of things to get done!!

    But for now,

    YIPPEE KI YI YAY!!!

    October 29th 2010

Exciting things are coming. What I've been working on for like a year might finally come into realization this weekend!! Check back next week for a much needed upgrade to the Digital Books.

    Pleasepleasepleaseplease work!!

    September 23th 2010

Ok, ok, I know I keep promising the flip book technology, but bringing technology back from the future and trying to get it to work in your primitive time is a lot harder than it looks. So back off!

Um, anyway, Nick's Nuggets of Joy will not come out until that is ready to be launched. I apologize, don't cry to hard :*( Remember, good things come to those who wait! ...or is that old age and boredom? Don't remember.

BUT I do have some good news, I recently started a second website, that is really a Tumblr, called ComicsLOL.com. So check that out or continue being a loser :-)

Okay, also, Lumberjack Nick, AKA Me, has a new blog, also a Tumblr, called Lumberjack Nick's Tumblr!. So follow me on there so I don't feel like a jerk anymore :-) ...if that is even possible ;-) ...you know, because it's not possible for me to be a jerk...right?...RIGHT??

Anyways! That's it for now!! Keeping being awesome!!! WEEeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

    August 28th 2010

Okay, NickDieAxe.com is now officially RocketHeroBooks.com, so please rebookmark the new page, darnit!!

The next amazingly awesome chapter in the excitingly excellent Lj. Nick Comic Book series is finally here!!!

Next up, the loooong awaited Flash Flip Book Feature, and the looooooooooooooooong awaited Nick's Nuggets of Joy Digital Book!!!

    YeeHaw!!!

    July 29th 2010

This post is coming more than a few months after the last one.

The site has gone under a lot of changes.

    More are to come...

The last real big changes are:

    ~NickDieAxe.com is becoming RocketHeroBooks.com

~The Flash Flip Book Software will soon be drasticly changing the way YOU enjoy LumberjackNick.com's Fantastic Free Fiction from the Future!

Look forward to the loooong awaited "Nick's Nuggets of Joy" Digital Book to accompany the Flash Flip Book launch later this August!

Also, I am currently working on a brand-spankin' new Lumberjack Nick Comic!! which should come out towards the beginning or middle of August!

    Exciting Times Indeed!!!

    April 08th 2010

    Life has been crazy.

"Nick's Nuggets of Joy" will be coming out shortly.

    WOOT!

    February 17th 2010

First off, I apologize that the Valentine's Day edition of "Space-Troopers" didn't come out on Valentine's Day. Personal matters have taken priority, and my work on this website has unfortunately been effected. Though rest assured, we will prevail, and not only will "Space-Troopers" issue #3 be posted sometime in the near future, the long awaited Digital Edition of "Nick's Nuggets of Joy" will also come into reality very shortly. Look for the latter sometime early March, and for former sometime later that same month.

    Happy Hunting!

    January 17th 2010

Okay people, it's 2010, and thus it's officially the future. With that being the case, I'm currently looking into developing a fancy Flash Digial Book reader for the website to make reading moi's Digital Books more exciting....if that is at all possible.

Also look for the much anticipated release of "Nick's Nuggets of Joy!", as well as a special Valentine's Day edition of "Space-Troopers" coming up very, very soon.

    Cowabonga d00dz!

    December 22nd 2009

I'm please announce that the fundraiser I held for Target: Dayton! Ministries was able to raise almost $600 dollars. Thank you to everyone who donated both money, prayers, and other support. You are all greatly appreciated. It was a awesome Christmas gift to a wonderful ministry. Please pray for and keep those who might not have a warm place to stay during these harsh winter months.

Wishing you all a very merry Christmas!

    November 4th 2009

"Helen" is finally posted. Check her out.

    November 1st 2009

I'm pleasantly excited to announce that today starts the Target: Dayton! Ministries promotion. From here on out until the end of the month, every time you download a Digital Book, 10¢ will be donated to Target: Dayton! To learn more about this great ministry, please visit the "Give" page.

Also, "Helen", part II of the Darkest Day serial, will be posted within a few days. Finally! :-)

    October 11th 2009

I'm currently looking for some giving people to help sponsor the fundraiser I'd like to hold through the month of November. Please visit the "Give" page to learn about about the ministry I'll be supporting, as well as exactly how the fundraiser will work. If you're interested in helping to sponsor the fundraiser or know anyone who would be interested, please E-Mail me at either NicholasDiak@nickdieaxe.com, or NicholasDiak@yahoo.com for more information.

    October 7th 2009

I'm currently working with Target: Dayton! Ministries in the hopes of starting a fundraiser for them on this site starting and running through November. For every Digital Book download I receive, I'm going to donate 10¢ to TDM. For more information about their ministry please visit the Give section above.

Also, "Helen' has gotten put off once again. The fundraiser has taken priority. Helen should be posted Monday, the 19th, once and for all. Sorry for the delay.

    September 24th 2009

Check out the new “swag” page I just added to the site. For those of you knew don’t know what swag is, swag is usually free stuff companies and such give out for promotional reasons. Though not all the stuff on the Swag page will free, there are some free stickers up now, and other free stuff will come in the future.

I have one T-Shirt up for sell right now. I plan on making others. 50% of the profits go to charity.

    September 14th 2009

Okay, I suck, I know. “Helen” still isn’t posted. Instead, I'm pushing it back to the first Monday in October. Mostly so I can make "Helen" the best story it can be, and also to coincide with what will hopefully be the launch of the "spotlight" section.

The “spotlight” section will support and feature a specific non-profit for the duration of a month. I'm currently speaking with Miami Valley Women's Center who will hopefully be the first non-profit that will be featured in the "spotlight" section.

The promo stickers went fast, faster than I expected. I'm going to print some more. If you're interested please email me at: NicholasDiak@nickdieaxe.com.

And for now, take care, and God bless.

    September 7th 2009

Instead of posting "Helen: Outlier" today, I posted "Oh Craps, I'm Shrunk!" which was supposed to come out next week. That story just flowed from me, while "Helen" is still having rough patches, though it will be posted next week, and very well maybe one of the best stories I've ever written.

I hope you enjoy "Oh Craps, I'm Shrunk!" I think it's a pretty fun story.

    August 31st 2009

After posting last week that I would have part 1 of Baneful Cessations released today, I decided not to take on another large project and work with the two I'm currently working on {A Week without MacGooglefest, and Darkest Day). I’m putting Baneful Cessations on the back burner for the time being, even though I'm really excited about it, I think it holds a lot of relevance with where this country is going right now.

So instead, I started writing the second part of Darkest Day, as well as the first part of A Week without MacGooglefest, "Oh Craps, I'm Shrunk". I'm really excited about where these two stories have gone. I haven't written anything like "Oh Craps" in a really long time, and it’s good to get those shoes on again. Anyone who thinks "If You Squeeze Pi..." is a crazy story, just you want. I think "Oh Craps" very well maybe the craziest story I've ever written. It's vastly different from the original version I wrote over six years ago, and I hope you like it when its released in two weeks.

The second part of Darkest Day, titled, "Helen: Outlier" picks up where "Clark: Propaganda" left off. It follows the events of Josh's homeroom through the eyes of a girl named Helen. It's much darker than the previous story, yet in parts it’s lighter, and funnier. “Helen” will be released on Labor Day.

So instead of releasing a new Digital Book this week, I’m giving you a chance at getting some free stickers pictured below. They are of limited supply, so act fast before they’re all gone the way of the dodo. Just e-mail me your address at: NicholasDiak@yahoo.com, and I’ll send you out ten free stickers --->Stickers!

And that's it for now. Don't forget to click the "Give" button to help out local non-profits. Speaking of which, that aspect of the website will be getting changed around a bit as well. Take care.

    August 25th 2009

NickDieAxe.com is now up and running, so either NicholasDiak.com or NickDieAxe.com will bring you to this here fine site of great literature. The reason behind the two names is because there are several ways of spelling "Nicholas", and no one can even pronounce "Diak" right, let alone spell it. So its just away to help people remember and get to the site with much more ease. So NicholasDiak.com is sort of the formal site name, while NickDieAxe.com is the less formal.

Just a heads up, the first part of Baneful Cessations will be released next Monday, the second part in Darkest Day will be released the following Monday. I will either release part 1 of A Week without MacGooglefest, AKA Oh Craps, I'm Shrunk, after that, or I might take a week off to do submissions to some magazines. I guess it all depends on how are far along Oh Craps, I'm Shrunk! is when we get to that mark.

Anyway, don't forget to click the "Give" button and support your local non-profits, and I hope you all enjoyed When a Man Gloves a Woman or What's Glove Got to Do with It?

    August 17th 2009

Okay, well the first part of the Darkest Day serial has just been posted, and let me tell you it was a battle to get it there, so I hope you enjoy it!!

There are some changes to the site coming as well. Read, Give, Live, and see you next Monday when I post up the first story I ever got published!

    August 10th 2009

Well, today is finally here. Though I said I'd post two stories, the second one just isn't ready yet and will be posted next Monday instead. "If You Sqeeze Pi..." is probably my favorite story I've ever written, and I hope you all enjoy it just as much. Just click on the "The Library" link above, and you should be able to figure it out from there.

    August 3rd 2009

Okay, so it looks like next Monday will be the official launch of the site. I'll post two stories up on August 10th, and every Monday following I'll post up a new Digital Book.

Also, I'm working on starting a donation page where visitors will have the opportunity to make donations to local non-profits that assist people under economical hardships. I'm not fully sure yet if I'll keep the selected non-profits home based here in the Dayton area, if I'll include nationwide non-profits, or if I'll do a sole partnership with United Way or another organization. If you have any suggests for this part of the site please feel free to E-Mail me at: nicholasdiak@yahoo.com.

    July 23rd 2009

I just found out the Taco Bell Dog passed away yesterday, how sad :-(

Anyway, I'm looking to get my world famous Nick's Nuggets of Joy published and to do so, I need YOUR help. Please take time to complete the following survey. If you have already taken it, please check again as I recently added a bunch more.

Also, I'm hoping to have the first wave of Digital Books posted and ready to download on here by August 3rd. So please check back then.

    June 17th 2009

First news entry, woot! Obviously, if you're lucky enough to have stumbled upon this site, you should be warned that I'm still working on revamping it as my beauiful, wildly popular writing portfolio. Several of the pieces I'm working on will be posted here lickety-split and will include a serial series of....say, 4-teen short stories titled, Darkest Day. I'm also writing several stand alone short stories which include, The Klunxville Monster, and a very sad story that currently owns the working title, The Driveway Story of Disaster. Other things sizzling on the back burner include finally getting If You Squeeze Pi into Five Cup, Hotdog Toasters will Throw Velociraptors at Quantum Physics officially published in a zine if it means having to hold the publisher's little rugrat hostage, as well as getting some of my other serials, A Week Without MacGooglefest and Baneful Cessations, moving forward.

I hope to soon have some Digital Books up of my completed works for your anxious hands to download. I might even put a collection of my journalism works that I did for DDN and/or Nick's Nuggets of Joy put together for your enjoyment. Soooooo stay toned...
